Facing the flooded shaft, taken with Olympus OM1, ASA 400 Colour print film. Turned out better than expected. It was on open shutter with a flash held alongside. I have swam the shaft with a buoyancy aid with the camera and flash in a rocket tube, but left the tripod the other side. On the outbye side it was a short drop of about a foot to the water, but inbye the water was into the level. This is the direction the camera is facing, hence the water. I was disappointed that the working did not lead anywhere. As the water was below the collar on the outbye side, there must be a resurgence further outbye somewhere.
