Hudeshope (probably late 60s early 70s)

Portal and ancillary buildings now cleared and replaced by a cattle wagon, it would appear. Some might argue that the amount of nettles would suggest the miners found this a good spot to relieve themselves before, or after, a shift. Grover Dave adds...."More likely to mid to late sixties,by the seventies the local estate had recycled the stone for other purposes....."
