When Gloddfa Ganol opened, Holland's Mill was a magnificent ruin and as such we surveyed it in 1977. Subsequently it was rebuilt in part using ex-Croesor Mill timbers to house a working mill and the lcoomotive museum (the space division between the two depended on the demand for slate and the strength or otherwise of the tourism!).
