2009 Imagine the men who have decended into the bowels of the earth via these wheels and the tons of coal brought to the surface via their toils, by this point metal thieves had stolen/dumped the axel casings I imagine to retrieve bronze bearings. I keep meaning to climb the pathetic memorial headstock for a then and now view.
