Now marked Disused, The viaduct removed, However the wagonway can now join onto the new Newcastle/Tynemouth Railway Line, This is now the Metro line and main Metro Depot. The large spoil heap is now large grassed area South Gosforth Green, However this is currently being dug up for new housing
