From an old Engine Catalogue - George Watkins gives these engines (one at each end of the power house) as 2,500HP, 32 & 56in bore x 5ft stroke. Steam at 140 psi. 6 tons per wind in 60-70 second cycles. Conico-cylindrical drums 15-25ft dia, 25rpm at full speed (coal?).
