Behind the mill was the odd Floor 1/2 - which went all the way from the adit to the ar southern side - where it ends, buried by later tipping which has flowed over it. However, a clue remained as to its purpose - the slab wall you can see centre right. All that remains, we believe, of the original drumhouse whose incline connected Floor 1/2 with the Office Floor, before the mill was built. It lines up exactly...
