ECMR Ore stockyard on Calstock Quays from Viaduct: May 1979

Open area with bare surface immediately to the right of the Calstock public hall (black building with extension under construction) and adjoining bank of the River Tamar is the area where the ECMR''s sidings fanned out to provide facilities for storing ore prior to dispatch by river. The Quay lines were always horse-worked and the routes of the sidings are now marked in the area shown by lines of paviors.
