The original H-I-K incline wound trucks from H, I and K floors to G floor, where an inclined water balance and vertical water balance lifted them to DE and the Vertical Balance Floor (Bonc Siafft) respectively. In the 1920's the vertical balance was smashed and then the incline balance superceded by extending the beds of the HIK incline up to DE. In 1939 the quarry face above the incline collapsed dropping the "10,000 ton boulder" onto the incline which took the rest of the war to tunnel through. You can see the top edge of the boulder on the bottom left, resting on a slab wall. At that point the working floor you can see is about 20-30 feet above the actual G floor.
