A view looking east in the top of the chamber. The tramway is built up here on a massive slab retaining wall, the edge of which is just visible. The chamber is an odd shape below G floor due to the geology and bends through about 20 degress at H floor before descending again to I floor. From here the pipe descended a purposely sunk shaft into the top of chamber B1 at about the height of K floor before decending to the actual pump on L floor.
