Calverton No2 Winder in its last Year.

Calverton No2 ,2250Hp Clutch Drum AC Winding engine single motor drive (much on Flickr). Initially electrical portion GEC 1750 HP and mechanical portion Frazer and Chalmers. The shaft was uprated from 10 to 12.5 tonne which meant a new motor and parsons peebles controls using 7000 type electronic unit. I used to keep it in order at the end and that is me.
