Aerial view of Nant y Gadwen western end

Lower end of Nant y Gadwen. Upper tramway led to cable drum and then down an incline to the buildings above the shoreline. A second incline then ran down to a wooden jetty for loading onto ships. At the lower right of the photo, you can see where the original footpath heading down to Porth Ysgo beach was lost to a landslide.
