Adit.

This is the main adit for Wheal Vlow. The adit has been bricked up heavily with a small gap at the top. Interestingly the large pipe comming out of the brick work is a section of the former rising main from the original Cornish beam pumping engine that used to be situated on the main shaft of the mine.
