View of the portal of the supplies drift. Before this drift was driven, coal was transported over the gantry, over the site of the drift & up towards the screens in the station yard at Clayton West. The tramway turned almost 90 degrees to the right & through a short underpass under the main road, which came out beside the landsale weighbridge. This underpass was backfilled around 1970.
