1889 map

Larger map Showing the expansion of Railway lines, Consett Iron works expands considerably as does Consett town centre, However Crookhall Ironworks appears to be half the size it was and no longer mentioned on the map But Coke ovens still appear. The two mines of West Elemore and Crookhall have been swept away, including their wagonway. Meanwhile Delves Pit appears to be catering more for Clay with a large Brickworks.
