Wellington Adit 1987

8,000.000 gallons of water a day was discharged through this adit and straight into the Carnon River. No treatment plant was installed and anything nasty would have just gone floating down the river, over th Restronguet Creek Oyster beds and on into Falmouth bay. 1987
