Steam Pipes

If you look at Dick Bird's "air receivers 1979" photo this is looking back the other way (about 2 years later) - Dickie was standing where my old van is in this shot. The boiler house is off to the left, that's the power house with the 1923 stone in the gable. The tall vertical pipe is on the (horizontal) steam accumulator you can just see behind the brick wall. The electricians workshop is extreme right. The wooden cooling tower would've been even further right out of shot (in fact demolished by the time this was taken).
