Stacks

About one and one-half miles south-southeast of Tannehill Station on the Alabama Great Southern Railroad. Stacks of old Tannehill charcoal blast furnace on property of Republic Iron & Steel Company. Furnace consists of three stacks (double in foreground and single in distance) built of local carboniferous sandstone.
