South Caradon Mine

The platform is cut into the hill on the south-east side and revetted with a stone wall on the downslope side. South Caradon Mine possesses the best example of a horse whim platform in the district possibly in the county. On its top surface is the clear impression of the 14m diameter hoprse-track. 03-05-10
