Skegby New Wharf Pit

The site of the shaft(s) appears to be marked by an overgrown area of brambles and nettles. I am not sure about the surrounding area being a good site for the mine itself. I am not sure if some of the ground got taken away during building works. The lane is Wharf Lane and was there when the mine was in operation. (April 2016). I thought I had an older photo which makes a more promising case.
