Saundersfoot Railway tunnel 2008

The tunnel was dug in 1829 to get to Kingsmoor which was on the North side of Hill (now renamed Pentlepoir) the railway crossed the common and at first ended at Begelly Collliery owned by the Childs Family of Begelly House who had influenced the building of the railway.
