Rocker Pit

This was originally a rocker pit, which we know from some wear grooves on the wall. It was roofed over and the right-hand buttress built, apparently for use as a pigsty, after the mine was abandoned in the 1880s when the shaft ran in. Thanks to AR for descriptions.
