Riccall No1 shaft 629m 1981

A very young looking undermanager casting his eye over the drainage system for the Wooley Edge Rock. I'm standing on the sinking stage, you can see the shutter still in place on the lining below the drainage ring. Backwall is meshed then approx 1m thick concrete lining. You can see the water seal sticking up out of the concrete just in front of the pipe ring.
