Redialed section of adit. 2016
When Frongoch acquired Wemyss they had to re dial the adit in order to extend it into the Frongoch workings, this entailed blasting the floor out, hence the height. The old Wemyss adit ends a short distance further where the roof height suddenly diminishes.
A branch to the right can be seen high up on the right of the picture with the blue handline. At the time of my original entry the level coming in on high right was a mass of undisturbed clog prints and had the remains of a wheelbarrow and ends at a collapse. This has been partially dug and found to end at the rise from which the fall emanates.
This picture replaces and earlier one.
