Progress at West Moreton

Since my 2009 visit, the site has become part of Ipswich's Mining Heritage Trail and has been considerably cleaned up. Not open on the day of my latest visit but a step in the right direction for, arguably, one of the key historical sites in the Ipswich coalfield.
