Pensioners Level

just by the start of the packing, the east wall of the Archway had been breached and a timbered level led to a small number of chambers. It was called the "Pensioner's Level" because the quarry pensioners (who worked into their 70's) could easily get to it and get slabs to make slates from it to eke out their pension.
