Parsley Hay signal box 1967

This picture was taken during the run of more or less the final train which I have down as 30th April 1967. Enthusiasts were taken from here in guards vans along the CHPR, the site here being on the route of the Ashbourne to Buxton line. Note the mats and bits of carpet placed over the lever slots to keep out the fierce wind which could blow here.
