old Williams Pit

Looking South, The old engine house is now a pleasant home Though not a cheap conversion.. The strengthened concrete floor to support the Winding drum and the huge hole once they removed it springs to mind ! But would love this house. The ropes would have came out of the left side of the building, the rope holes now windows..
