Old Upper Mill -composite

This photo shows the remains of the old mill with the engine house of the new mill on the right. Both were originally steam driven as there was little water available on this side of the Hollands' quarry site.
In the background is the drumhouse of the 1880s incline which was built to connect the upper and middle quarry in Oakeley days.
