Newbury Colliery coke ovens

Beehive coke ovens at work at Newbury Colliery, Vobster. Just look at the mountains of coke on the bank and also the size of the pieces of coke. Top quality product whuch was supplied to Westbury ironworks. The pit finally closed in August 1927
