Mount Wellington
Wellington's new adit, constructed after the failure and unstable nature of the old adit. A collapse under the road from Bissoe to Twelveheads caused the road to close whilst the company did a cut and cover job on the adit. They layed 30 odd metres of spun concrete rings creating a very strong outfall for the mine water which, at the height of working, carried 8,000,000 gallons of water per day. No treatment, just sent straight into the Carnon River.
