Memorial of Senghenydd mining disaster

On the 14th October, 1913 the worst mining disaster in British History took place when there was a massive underground explosion at the Windsor Colliery, Senghenydd. A total of 439 miners lost their lives. This memorial has engraved on it the names of each of those men and boys(the youngest being just 14).
