Magpie square chimney undergoing restoration summer 2016
Scaffolding around the square chimney for the HLF-funded restoration work, July 2016. Surveys had identified that part of the inner skin had collapsed and work was urgently needed in order to prevent a more serious structural failure. Having successfully bid for lottery funding, PDMHS contracted a local firm of specialist masons to carry out the work.
