Looking South at the hub
The level in the background led originally into the chamber that contained the H, I and K inclines. This was blocked off when the arches were constructed, but this remnant also connected to the left with the head of the old stairs chamber seen in other shots.
The pipe crossing in the foregound is the discharge main from the lower pumps to the drainage channel (out of shot to left) seen in other photos.
