Loe Pool Helston

Dunno if anyone looks at this, but I wonder if chimney was part of tin stream works? Trying to find out if it was on Loe Bar or where river enters pool at other end, can't be anything to do with Wheal Pool as this was far upstream. Postcard was used in 1908, chimney may have served some other purpose altogether not linked to tin, if it was tin streaming what was it used for? Nobody explains how tin was treated once streamed. There is plenty of alluvial tin in Pool as well as that left after tin was treated upstream. I think the Pool is steadily being poisoned by tin and other runoffs unless the Bar is pierced! (I think streaming ceased here c1882)
