Liverton Mines about 1967

At left a circular yellow brick wall surrounds the top of the downcast shaft. In front of the tall square tower above the fanhouse and protected by a brick wall was the upcast shaft; both shafts remarkably close together and about 480 feet deep. The lower area in the foreground used to be the rail sidings.
