Intersection of shaft in adit 1974

I had originally thought this this may have been Turnavore Shaft, but seemingly it is not the case, judging by those who have had the opportunity to explore the mine much more thoroughly than we did in our limited time underground at night. This, to prevent hapless sunbathers becoming surrounded by ochreous water, downstream of the adit during the day time!

  • Turnavore shaft would have been a lot bigger. That's a small winding shaft by the looks of things.
