Hem Heath Colliery

The recently completed "A" frame of No2 shaft as shown on the cover of an NCB promotional leaflet for the redevelopment of colliery in 1960. This was the coal winding shaft and was equipped with 2 winding systems, each operating a pair of 3 deck cages. It was demolished on 14th August 1997.
