Greaves Colliery 1850

OS map extract showing the colliery site with shaft and coke oven. The site later became a brickyard. Bradgate Colliery opened in the 20th century a few yards to the north west. This appears to have been an adit driven into the side of a quarry on the 1930s OS map.
