Geevor "Cliff pumps"

These pump houses contained a Harland "Duo-glide" two stage pump in the far pump house (Installed by Bob Orchard circa 1974). Prior to this it housed a "Aldrich Triplex Pump" triple ram pump made by the Allentown Rolling mills PA USA. Serial No. 1578.
The near pump house contained a converted shaft sinking pump & a Mather & Platt pump.
All pumps discharged into a common rising main to deliver water into the round tank adjacent to Victory shaft.
The Harland pump was capable of 408 gall/min (when new).
Water was also collected from a leat that ran around the cliffs for near Pendeen light house.
Also we could pump the top 18" of water from Roscolors pond using a modified R.O. Stokes pump
