Fred and the abyss
Years ago Fred went exploring with his mates. They found a mine and in they went. They did not have lights, only sticks to guide the way. After twenty meters Freds mate fell in the flooded winze. Fred and his other friend left the mine in haste. The episode haunts him to this day.
