Foss Barite Mine, Aberfeldy, Perthshire. The 670 m. level B1 stope. The slusher pulley and wire rope system allowing forward and backward pull of slusher. The slusher is a mechanical drag shovel loader used to pull recently blasted ore to the top of a drawpoint or raise where the ore falls to be collected at a lower level by an underground dump truck.
