Flat area on the Illawarra escarpment where the Mount Kembla Mine was located.
Several buildings were located on this site associated with haulage from the drift and transfer to a cable hauled inclined tramway down to the standard gauge railway to Wollongong. Note encapsulated A4 sheets of paper stapled to the trees describing various features of the site.
