Dry Bag

A DIY cure for condensation inside one of my lamps, or any other for that matter.

My Lynx lamp has a bezel that unscrews, this allows the removal of the glass with its fitted silicone gasket. The bag is one that a shirt was in, inside is silica gel purchased from Homebase as a refill for a dehumidifier and some kitchen towel to keep the lamp clear of the gel flakes.

The bag must have its ends folded to prevent air getting in, and the lamp reassembled from the outside without opening the bag, final tightening can be done after its removed from the bad.
Please note that the flat side of the gasket must be against the lamp, convex side towards the bezel.
