Drawing shaft

The drawing shaft on Edge Rake to the west of Brook Bottom. Rieuwerts (Lead Mining in Derbyshire part 1 p 175) gives this as a haulage shaft for spoil from Edge Rake Sough. However, recent exploration of the sough (see thread on this site and PDMHS Newsletter No 112, October 2004) found the forefield at around 75 metres from the tail, approximately 150 metres short of the shaft.
