Dosey Level Aug 2018

The collapsing remains of the entrance to Dosey.

John Lawson's BM 8 paper indicates that Dosey and Tyne Boggs (Boys) were active between 1853 and 1879 producing about 70 tons of lead ore, presumably the bulk of that from Dosey.

Ray Fairbairn indicates (c/o Wallace "Alston Moor" etc p 133) that Dosey Vein's production between 1811 and 1853 was 2910 bings and 5 cwt and was leased as late at 1876/7
