Doorway dated 1527 in Gewerkenegg castle

The castle was built in 1522 - 1533 as mine administration offices, residence of mine administrators, and for storage of mercury and cinnabar, foodstuffs and mining equipment. Now shared between the municipal museum and a music school. 27/06/2011
