Dolcoath Mine

From the pages of Holman's Machinery Catalogue 1908 The famous Holman's Traversing winder on William's Shaft. At 550 fms deep (3300 feet) this puts it somewhere close to 3000 feet below sea level. The drum was 10 feet in diameter and 21 feet long.
