Crazy Cliff Path, Wheal Fenwick
The cliff paths of cornwall are a classic feature of mineworkings in the county. This one served a short lived, unsuccessful mine but was obviously deemed worth risking one's life for in stormy gales. Sandy Pedn y Ke is cut off from Pollurian cove at high tide; the headland itself is called Pedn y Ke. The name, assuming it's bastardised from "Pednankey" means "Head/End of the Hedge".
The Cornish never won any awards for their poetry.
