Clipstone Colliery Power House 1927.

Here you can see the Three BTH turbo alternators together and on the right the 500vac to 110dc 100kw motor-generator for lighting and lamproom. The Alternators were two 500KVA in the foreground and 1.5 MVA distant which was dual pressure incorporating the use of exhaust steam from an accumulator at 3 PSI where fan, compressor and winder exhausts were utilised.
The steam from the boilers came in at 160 PSI.
